Realme P3 series: What to expect
The Realme P3 series will unveil two smartphones: Realme P3 Pro and P3x. While the company is keeping the several details under wraps, it has announced a few key specs for the two phones.
Realme P3 Pro: The Realme P3 Pro is set to feature a refreshed design compared to its predecessor, the P2 Pro, with a look similar to the Realme 14 Pro. It introduces colour-changing technology, including a "Glow-in-the-dark" variant inspired by a nebula pattern. The phone will come in three colours: Nebula Glow, Saturn Brown, and Galaxy Purple.
It boasts a circular camera island with two lenses and a ring light, along with a slim 7.99mm profile. The P3 Pro will sport a quad-curve display and a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, making it a solid choice for mid-range users. The device is powered by a 6,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging, offering a full day's use.
For cooling, it features a large vapour cooling chamber, ideal for gaming and intensive tasks. Additionally, it is IP69, IP68, and IP66 certified, making it water and dust resistant.
Realme P3x: Realme has yet to disclose the full hardware details of the P3x, but its design is already confirmed. The phone will come in three colour variants, including a Lunar Silver option with a premium textured vegan leather back and micron-level engraving, which reflects varying shades of colour under light. The Blue and Pink versions will also feature a vegan leather back panel.
The P3x boasts a slim profile at 7.93mm, making it slightly thinner than the P3 Pro, which is 7.99mm. Unlike the P3 Pro’s circular camera module and glow-in-the-dark finish, the P3x features a vertical triple-camera setup and a flat-frame design.
Positioned as a budget-friendly option, the P3x 5G is expected to offer 5G connectivity at a more affordable price compared to the P3 Pro, which comes with a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, a 6,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging, and a quad-curved EdgeFlow display. The P3x may be an alternative to the P3 Pro for users seeking a more budget-conscious 5G option.
Realme P3 series price expectations
The series is anticipated to launch at a starting price of Rs 15,000. This means that the P3x could be priced at Rs 15,000. And the Pro variant could be placed under Rs 25,000.
